PLF Takes Zoning to a New Level

Our Carolinas New Builds Zoning team had a very busy and successful year in 2015. In March, we announced the new hire of Associate, Laura Askins Goode to assist with all zoning matters. Mary Miles Rogers, Paralegal and Parker Johnson, Legal Assistant are also members of the Carolinas New Builds Zoning team. In August, we developed a new outline to streamline our process of obtaining zoning approval for a wireless communications facility. Our new process has proven to be successful as we have received positive feedback from the jurisdictions in which we filed applications while simultaneously reducing costs for our clients. In just a few months, we filed over ten (10) zoning applications across the state of North Carolina and three (3) in South Carolina. Welcome to the Firm: Parker Johnson Parker Johnson graduated from Wofford College in 2015 with a B.A. in History and a minor in Government. While in school, Parker ran Cross Country and Track for the Division 1 program. He was also a member of Kappa Alpha Order and created The Get Moving Campaign as part of The Space to Impact scholarship program. Prior to graduation, Parker worked as a runner for Harrison, White, Smith, & Coggins Law Firm.

She graduated from Campbell University School of Law in 2012, magna cum laude. Laura has been employed by the North Carolina Attorney General’s Office the past two (2) years. Welcome to the Firm: Tori White Tori graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Sociology and minor in Dance. While at USC, Tori took on many leadership roles including Vice President of Palmetto Teachers Association, choreographer for the Dance Department at USC, Community Outreach Coordinator for Campus Crusade for Christ, and others. She learned how to communicate effectively and maintain positive, professional relationships with her classmates. Her Sociology classes taught her how to look at situations in a different light and be able to understand people on a different level. She is a member of the Alpha Kappa Delta Sociology Honor Society. Tori’s experience and academic record will be an asset to our firm.
